Is Official available everywhere in the world?
Official is available in 46 countries. We’re looking to bring Official to more places in the future, so if you can’t download our app, but would like to, you can request access in your country, here.
Do we really need an app for our relationship?
Official is here to enhance your interactions—not replace them. Whether you want to share your mood or spark new conversations, we’re here to enrich those moments and make them more meaningful.
Does my partner have to download the app?
Official is designed to be used by two people. You can use the app without your partner, but some of the games and tools will have limited functionality.
I didn’t get my verification code
No problem. Log back into the app, and you’ll be prompted to request a new verification code. If you continue to experience challenges with your new code and can't log into the app, just contact our support team at support@getofficial.co.
How do I cancel my premium subscription?
iOS: If you subscribed using your App Store account:
- Open your iPhone Settings.
- Tap your name, then tap Subscriptions.
- Select the subscription you want to cancel.
- Tap Cancel Subscription.
Android: If you subscribed using your Google Play Store account:
- Open the Google Play Store on your Android device.
- Tap the Menu icon and go to Subscriptions.
- Select the subscription you want to cancel.
- Tap Cancel subscription.
General notes on cancellation:
- Deleting your Official account and/or the Official app from your phone, and/or unlinking your payment card won’t cancel your subscription. To cancel any future payments, you’ll need to follow the steps above.
- Once you cancel your subscription, you can use your Official subscription for the remaining days you paid for.
- Canceling a subscription doesn't retroactively refund subscription payments, and previously paid subscription fees can’t be prorated based on your cancellation date.

What happened to the Date Swiper, Bookmarks, Search, Public Posting, and Plan a Date features?
Couples mentioned that some of these features didn't really work for them. But don't worry, you can still see all the dates you've posted and add new ones privately in the Memories section. Read the full feature depreciation notice here.

How does the Daily Question timer work?
Each day, you and your partner can answer one Daily Question within a 24-hour period. This 24-hour timer resets at midnight according to the timezone of the person who first invited their partner to Official. Premium users can answer up to two additional Daily Questions that they might have missed previously. If you ever miss your Daily Question because of travel or any other reason, don't worry! Email us at support@getofficial.co, and we'll do our best to restore your streak.
