When will Official operations cease to be available?
The Official mobile app will no longer be available from 9th May. You will have been notified by in-app messages and via in-app notifications.
What will I see when I open the Official app?
Before 9th May, the mobile app will look the same as when you last opened it. After 9th May, you will no longer be able to access your profile or open the Official app on mobile.
Can I still exercise my rights under data privacy laws, such as the right to access a copy of my data?
You continue to have rights set out in Official’s Privacy Policy, including the right to request a copy of your data. Official’s Privacy Policy can be found here.
Please note: Your data will be deleted in accordance with Official’s retention policies and applicable law.
Will I still be able to contact Official for support?
Our support teams will continue to operate while the app is still available until 9th May, through the settings in your app. You will no longer be able to contact support after this date.
Can I still contact Official through social media?
Official social channels will no longer be in operation as of 9th May
Can I request erasure of my personal data?
You can delete your account in the Official app via Settings > Delete Account. When your account is deleted, your personal data will be deleted in accordance with Official’s retention policies and applicable law. This needs to be completed by the 9th of May.
Alternatively, you can complete a Data Erasure Request. Please contact us by support@getofficial.co and we will guide you through the process.

How can I access my data?
You can request access to your data by submitting a Subject Access Request. Please contact us through the Official app via Settings > Contact support before 9th May, and we will guide you through the process.

How do I cancel my premium subscription?
iOS: If you subscribed using your App Store account:
- Open your iPhone Settings.
- Tap your name, then tap Subscriptions.
- Select the subscription you want to cancel.
- Tap Cancel Subscription.
Android: If you subscribed using your Google Play Store account:
- Open the Google Play Store on your Android device.
- Tap the Menu icon and go to Subscriptions.
- Select the subscription you want to cancel.
- Tap Cancel subscription.
General notes on cancellation:
- Deleting your Official account and/or the Official app from your phone, and/or unlinking your payment card won’t cancel your subscription. To cancel any future payments, you’ll need to follow the steps above.
- Once you cancel your subscription, you can use your Official subscription for the remaining days you paid for.
- Canceling a subscription doesn't retroactively refund subscription payments, and previously paid subscription fees can’t be prorated based on your cancellation date.
